Tweaks for the littles
If you don't have date paste on hand you can swap for 1 well mashed medium banana.
Ingredients
1 tablespoon golden flaxseeds, or 1 whole large egg
3 tablespoons hot water
1 1/2 cups old-fashioned rolled oats
3/4 cup cooked quinoa
1/4 cup unsweetened shredded coconut or finely chopped nuts
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon baking powder
1/2 teaspoon fine sea salt
1/4 teaspoon baking soda
1/3 cup Date Paste
1/3 cup coconut or canola oil
1/4 cup pure maple syrup
1/2 teaspoon pure vanilla extract
1/2 cup chopped dried fruit
